OBJECTIVE
Create a motion graphics promotional trailer to promote a classic movie or a past AMC original series, in this case Resevoir Dogs, to be shown on their network. This ad will let viewers know that the movie or series will soon be added to the network's Throwback Flicks viewing schedule.
PROCESS
To produce this Kinetic Teaser, I began by meticulously creating live text within Adobe After Effects. This initial step was crucial to ensure a dynamic foundation for the project. Following this, I dedicated considerable time to synchronize the text display with the accompanying audio file, ensuring that every word and phrase was perfectly timed to enhance the overall impact of the video.
Once the timing phase was completed, I moved on to the 3D camera setup. This stage involved configuring the camera to capture dynamic and creative shooting angles, adding depth and visual interest to the teaser. By experimenting with various perspectives, I was able to achieve a visually engaging result that draws the viewer's attention.
The next phase involved adding graphics to further enhance the video's appeal. This step required careful consideration of color schemes, motion graphics, and other visual elements to create a cohesive and captivating final product. Each graphic was thoughtfully integrated to complement the live text and audio, resulting in a harmonious visual experience.
After many rounds of edits and refinements, I finalized the video, ensuring that every detail was polished to perfection. The final Kinetic Teaser is a testament to the careful planning, creative vision, and technical expertise that went into its creation.
